Job Description
In this role, you will collaborate with diverse stakeholders including executive leadership, sales, engineering, legal, and policy teams. You'll advocate best practices, proactively identify risks, and leverage your technical knowledge to make informed recommendations. You'll navigate complex technical and ethical AI considerations, and communicate effectively both internally and as a representative promoting Google Public Sector's commitment to Responsible AI externally.Streamline and scale technical AI risk management processes, establishing continuous monitoring systems to detect biases, unintended consequences, and ensure ongoing compliance with ethical standards.Design and deliver comprehensive AI training, and continuing education programs. Develop a dashboard to track compliance and business impact metrics.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in program or project management.
- 10 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.Preferred qualifications:
- PhD or graduate level education in related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with AI/ML governance policy, testing and evaluation, verification and validation, AI safety or assurance, and socio-technical evaluation of AI systems.
- Experience working in US public sector organizations.
- Experience with risk management.
- Familiarity with industry Responsible AI principles and practices.
